5670 direct in replacement 6386?

hi .im working in vari mu compressors.I have 6 tubes 5670.i don´t have any 6386.i need info about how adapt 5670 for work right in place to 6386.
any info ,link or help it´s good!.thanks!

I tried a 2C51/5670 in one of my compressors & found it didn`t really work. Difficult to explain the sound, but it wasn`t good.

For this reason I didn`t bother trying to mess with the bias.

I think 5670 is the best dual triode tube to use after the 6386 for this purpose... You should also try:

6BC8, ECC189, ECC188, etc...

AFAIK I don`t think the T bar mod uses a 5670. This is because the T bar is for use with 2 separate valves & not dual valve like the 5670.

TBAR mod is 2 6ba6 wired as triode. You should macth carefully...
