Need help on Manley Variable Mu T-Bar reverse-mod to 6386!

Hi,
I am considering doing a reverse mod on my Manley Variable Mu T-Bar to let it take 6386 tubes.
According to Manley’s website, it needs “minor modifications on the circuit”.
Can anyone shed some light on how to do the reverse mod?

Well I would contact Manley directly as there were several variations of that including one that just plugged into the existing 6386 socket.

Thank you, Pip! According to Manley, only the Version 1 T-Bar Mod can be plugged directly. Version 2,3,4 needs circuit modification. In fact, I wish I can just plug my 6386 in to have a try, without damaging the tube.

You won't damage the tube. You could look at the V1 schematic and make the changes to that version.
