Hello, for a 600 Ohm LCR phono RIAA equalisation module, is it needed to complete with an active gain part?

Walter,
Most of the schematics you will see doing this will have a tube input gain then like a 10K:600 (loose 12dB) into the LCR module, then tube make up gain and out.

Just remember min gain with a setup like this needs to be over 40dB for MM and like 65dB for MC.
I kind of stay away from this kind of design because you loose a lot of gain in the LCR module so it takes a boat load of gain to work.

Thank you. In fact, the phono (MM section) should do 45dB gain. Maybe an Input pentode is approriate.
