What generation of NT1 do you have?

There were 6.

Edit:
The most neutral sounding NT1 Kit Black (Gen 4 )
Is this your model?

guys we're not getting forward. I wont debate heere what a freaking NT1 is. I have a NT1. There is only 1. Look it up.

I dont like it , so i need other mic recommendations.

I want a clear and warm sounding yet not sibilant sounding mic for voice acting.

Did they make an 87-looking NT1 too? For some reason i thought it was only the NT2 (non-A) :unsure:
The first NT1 was almost identical to the NT2, made with 797 components.
There were several prototypes of the NT1
In the second picture, on the left is the first NT1, the oldest one, with the finer mesh, which has the code CR-3A written on it, and interestingly, you address the capsule from the side opposite the Rode logo (the back side), the opposite of the NT2.

Well, post a picture of your microphone. Any microphone can be modded, improved.
That's what we do here 🙂

@plautus
But would the Neumann U87AI sound good to you? Or C800G?
Well, @kingkorg posted a .csv preset that converts NT1's FR to Flat, on axis. Then you can use Townsend, Antares Mic Modeler, Lava or other software emulation to get the close character of many famous microphones. Many use these emulations successfully.

There have been at least THREE. Look it up 😉

Buying an AKG Perception 200 / 220 / P220? Buying anything between a genuine U87 and a U47? We don't know your budget or your needs...

Entitled and borderline rude attitude like that won't get you too far around here (even if it might be effective in other areas of your life)...

@plautus
Have you had this mic for over a decade and just now discovered it's muddy? It's actually fairly flat, as a professional sound engineer prefers.
The neutral sound can be processed much better than a colorful one, exaggerated in different frequency areas
