A Simple Way To Add More Gain To This FET Preamp?

My mando-guit is a half-size guitar strung with four strings, an octave below mandolin tuning.

Great clips and the pickups work a treat, just working on mine now, hope to have it all sorted in a couple of days. Thanks for everyones help and input.

OK preamps are up and running, current draw seems to be about 1.5 ma for the pair. Do i need an on off switch or is 1.5 ma low enough to leave the 9v batt connected all the time? Managed to get the gain up a wee bit on one channel by shunting the bottom source resistor with a 22uf cap. I also put 10k preset resistors in the source leg and adjusted them for 6 volts at the drain, does that sound about right? Results seem pretty good.
