This probably isn't news to most of you, but this was the first time I tripped over it and I just need to vent.

We've all seen the verification questions (sometimes referred to generically as "captcha") that you have to answer to post something, right?  And they're pretty simple questions, hard to get wrong... you'd think...

Today I tried to send a PM, and was asked this;

Express 0.33 as a fraction...

so I typed in "33/100".  Seems pretty simple, doesn't it?

That turned out not to be the correct answer (or perhaps "required answer" would be more accurate).  I double-checked that I hadn't misread or mistyped something... .33  33/100  wrong? ... WTF?!

Then it occurred to me - instead of the right answer, try typing in a really STUPID answer:

1/3

which of course was "correct".

I know, I shouldn't let things like this get to me... some days that's harder than others.

Actually the CORRECT answer would be:

0.33 = 1/3.030303030...

(or something close to that  LOL)

Simply because  1/3  = 0.333333...
