Acoustic 164 Guitar Amp + OPT Tear Down

ok we have a pic of what is installed in the amp,

voltage to the fet is 109, thus the fet is blown, and there is no input cap, no wonder we did not like the sound, where did it come from? maybe fet/tube sw leakage or too much acid,

needs a bleeder on the pwr supply section feeding the fet,

pull all the tubes and we have HV all over the place, dangerous amp,

going to install new fet after lowering B+, EQ transistors probably taking a hit also,

going to install 5F3 tag board pretty soon,  ;D

  I had some zeners regulating the preamp once, PTP construction. Working on the preamp alone, no power tubes installed, one of zeners felt down, too much heat for the tin to hold it  8). New solder, same zener, worked as expected... Si beats Sn
