this was a varnish dip thing, not good, because
a) it stinks when you heat it
b) it keeps the supermalloy from expanding and contracting during heavy bass notes, mangnetorestriction
c) it means i can not re use the 80 Ni
there were a couple of keeper lams on this stack they have rounded heels, like my girl,
took me about 3 hours to de laminate this thing, i must be slippin, utc lams just fall on the floor,
i put the I bar on there so Ed does not have a heart attack,
splices all over the place, oh wonderful.
i snapped a splice while un-peeling the tape, varnish is like that, anyway, it has the foil markers,
both splices have to come over the outer layer,
outer layer, heavy wire,>
you have to saw thru the interlayer insulation, with wax, the paper slides right off with the heat gun,
thinner wire used inside to balance the dcr>
getting close to the first layer
