ADR S31 VCA compressor modification question ??

Hi guys
I own few of this nice devices ( S31 compressors)  and i would like to replace DBX 2150A in there with DBX 202c

anybody did that before… ???

as i got it hacking of this should be easy BUT… i got to do things right … so S31 cv is triggered on negative input EC- and 202c have only positive CV input EC + ….

how to hack that … is it easy just to do with  opamp and invert signal or its more complicated ????

I'm reading data sheet from THAT 2180 … looks like I don't need inverter .. pin 3 is EC- and as far as i understand input on 202c is EC- only ….

right ????

can't find any data sheet on 202c but i checked GSSL design .. end emulation circuit

202c CTRL input is EC- ( cause pin 3 on that is EC-)

so …. lets try that tomorrow ….

I think ill have to adjust gain BUT thats no big deal !
