advice on new or used scope?

has anybody tried using the computer for a scope, you have to buy some hardware and software, but it could save space and save money if it worked,

fastest transformer i know of is the API 2503 output at 1 mega hurts so you do not need that fast of a scope for audio,

Yes, see my post above, great thing is that you can store pic via USB and analyze it later. It's USB, battery or psu powered and pocket size other variants of computer based oscilloscopes is similar priced but can't work standalone.
