I've seen one where the end user asks it to generate a VST effect for guitar. Requires several chat prompts in the same 'conversation' but still... and more difficult code than Python by the way.

Those AIs, as I understand it, are using prior music to "learn" from.
Now if I ignore all conflicts of music being a product and music being living human culture as a means in itself (as in make/participate vs.consume), then I ask myself what happens when AI kills off most published human music production. Then it has a stagnant pool of information to prey on.
And it will repeat and repeat. Maybe :)

As a professional illustrator, I am fond of a lot of great AI picture production, with great bizarre ideas, etc. But I recognize a certain very stagnant signature in most of those pictures. Which may evolve, but that´s how it is as of now.

From a personal view I just enjoy making music, product or not, and delegating that to an AI is like building an android to sleep with my woman, where´s the use in that?
