anyone have seen this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJTMKUCB4hE
what is interesting is at 14:44

it look like a reverb maybe but it have some very strange components, I have no idea what it could be.

I just opened the video and  saw the caption that says " see the harness at the end " ?
he did make a speaker load power soak kind of device called the harness, so that must be it
inductors and things to load and act like speakers

fairly poor video , guys coughing by the camera mic , and did they even show the pedal?
Holdsworth is one of those guys who sounds like himself no matter what he uses

I would guess the springs are the heating elements from an appliance, being used as a load resistor.

Using a simple example, a 1200 Watt space heater has resistance coil(s) with a 12 Ohm resistance.

Curious considering  " some " complain about the sound of pure resistance loads .........
Holdsworth had a co-design a product with rocktron in the 80's
the rocktron  juice extractor , it's seems this was a version of his harness with a parametric eq & hush nr added
haven't found an article about , but haven't looked too hard [ or a schematic ]
a little blurb from the manual here
