I think this would be difficult to do as a whole panel, but entirely worth a punt.
Make sure that it is super smooth and super clean.
Be sure to get plenty of heat into the panel before applying the pnp (enough that the panel grabs it, yet still allows you to move it a little).

I wonder why not you could use the laser printer or photocopy image printed on glossy photo paper transfer method on clean and even aluminium
