Ampeg R12R reissue amp noisy scratchy pots

My R12R master volume, and other pots are noisy, and am trying to figure out how to clean them. I couldn't find an obvious point on the pots where cleaning solution can be applied.......Have included picts.....The indent that is facing the circuit board does not seem to be accessible and does not appear to have an opening.

My can of contact cleaner spray came with a thin "straw" you can (to some extent) flex & maneuver into nooks & crannies. With those kinds of pots you'd want to aim that into the "window" the pins poke out of, but i think even just into that indent should still get some of the fluid in there. Then just work the pot(s) end to end a whole bunch of times and that should clean'em up.

What Khron says. Also check for dc on pin 3. Could be leakage from a blocking cap
