Another Project More Questions!!!!!

I am about finished with my SSL 9k pre. I will build another channel so that I can have 2, but I am waiting on parts. The mat-02 and some 470nf caps. I would like to start on my next project which will be an api 312. I want to create a board like the original. Here are my questions. Can't find 12.5uf or 250uf caps. Are there any substitue values I can use for these???? I have my melcor 1731s stuffed and ready to go.

Where do those caps appear in the circuit?
The 250's are probably filter caps, right?
Just use the next highest value you can find at the same or little bit higher voltage rating.
