Any info on the elusive Olive console ('70s...)?

They have just released a Plug-In on the Olive 2000 including the mic pre, EQ, and Dynamics from the Caribou Ranch Console

I can't shed any light on the technicalities of the console, except to say that my father was Frank Lee, the technician regretted to in the sections about Caribou Ranch. I was very (4-5 years old) young at the time, but until the day he died, he would insists it was 20 years ahead of its time.

You father was correct, 20 years a head of it's time. It is what all DAW's are referenced to was that idea from 1971. Look at how SSL, Neve, and Focusrite took Olive's concept and copied it!

Keep in mind there is a file size limit which is discussed in the very first (guide lines) posting in the link above.

The guide lines don't say anything about "restrictions" for new members, but if you have a problem, contact a moderator, or mention it in this thread.
