Anyone ever made a DIY CL1A or CL1B or clone?

I mean like a DIY. Wondering if Drips would be considering designing such a unit since it is tube.

The Tubetech stuff is currently manufactured and has been without a break.  I see no reason to clone this.

What do you mean by this? Are you saying it's not like the 1073 or 1176?

I asked the same thing regarding the API2500 or the Avalon tube stuff.    I guess no one wants to deal with copyright issues and getting sued.    AFAIK, the clones of the 1073/1176 are all based on schematics from the 70s, not the current revisions.

I cloned the 1176 and the GSSL at times where such units were not in commercial production. We do not want to interfer with commercial stuff - specially not the original designers.

O.K., I thought the Tubetech stuff were an old design like the 1176 and 1073.
