Anyone here use PADS (Siemens) pcb layout software?

Hi Group,

Anyone here use PADS (Siemens) pcb layout software? I have a couple of files that I'd like really to open and convert to .PDF - presumably they were drawn on a 2005 version of PADS.

Help?

Yes, I'm aware of their available 30-days trial, but that dosen't seem to allow me to import files..

..unfortunately that PadsViewer link now just leads to the same non-functioning 30-days trial at Siemens. I'll probably need the Mentor Graphics version?

Might be worth asking on the EEVblog forum? Wider audience with greater odds for such specific things

It's often possible to import files into a different ECAD system eg Altium ; Pulsonix.
What extension do your PADS files have ?
