API 525 JFET replacement? VCR2N?

Hi,

Does any VCR2N replacement exists? Could only find them on Mouser for 12€ a pop minus taxes..
My early 525C compressors use something labelled as "7123 1N1847" in a TO-18 package for Q1, are they proto VCR2Ns?
