APP14GE
germanium discrete operational amplifier
APP14GE is a germanium DOA that I have developed starting from my MA1 germanium pre. It's a new DOA so it's not a clone of another one (my own design from my experience as professional electronic engineer). I have designed it both for line and preamp stages. APP14GE uses both a germanium transistor and some silicon transistors. The germanium transistor is placed on the best point "to make germanium sound". As my MA1 preamp, APP14GE, has a warm vintage germanium sound. BTW it can use some different germanium transistors inside for getting different colors.
Kits came with docs with assembly manual (sent by email).
Kitset version prices with the NOS AF127 germanium transistor :

- 16.5 euro per pc for 3 to 6 pcs.

high performances FET input discrete operational amplifier.
main features:
- ultra low noise (1nV/rt Hz)
- very high slew rate (75 V/uS)
- high class A operation
- drive 75 ohm
- can be powered from +-14V to +-25V , so it can use +-16V, +-18V , +-24V of power supply.
- very stable on unity gain.

APP STUDIO ING. PSU2 , CONFIGURABLE PSU BOARD KIT
This is an high performances PSU board designed for mic preamps.
I have designed this PSU board for the many requests of API 312 clone channels around here.
For this PSU project I started from the typical DIY preamp configuration of 2 or 4 pre channels inside 1u rack chassis. Moreover, if needed, the PSU can be easy set for dual 24V out for 4x M1 channels. Since the space is very important when there are both 4 channels in the same 1u rack, I gone for a compact size PCB with narrow and long form.
This project was developed around the famous LM317 and LM337 IC regulators, with a design oriented for low noise and fast response to the load's current.
PSU's out voltages are set by 3 multiturn trimmers, one for each out.
the out voltages range is from +/-14V to -/+28V on main outs
The APP PSU2 has dimensions of 5.28 inch X 2.05 inch (13.4 cm X 5.2 cm )
and is made with a professional FR4 two layers PCB.
current specs:
main outs= +/-800mA (with proper heatsink)
+48 out = 50 mA

APP992
high performances FET input discrete operational amplifier.
APP992 is not a version of the JE990 but a totally new DOA (my own design from my experience as professional electronic engineer). I have designed it several years ago and it's a FET input DOA with modern design topology. APP992 has a trasparent, neutral and clear sound with a FET mojo. Neutral but not cold.
After many years on the market it's a very popular one and is used on many gears as eqs, compressors, pres,..etc...(for example is very used on Sontec eq clones).

I have designed this gear to have the sound of germanium with the dynamic and the fast transients of my opamps. The germanium transistor has been placed on the best point to make sound. MA1 an high performances gear with a lot of the warm that only a germanium transistor can do. It is designed for 500 rack chassis and so it works with dual 16V of power supply.
