I just have to say this is one of my workhorses.
All the way I wanted the sound of the SSL E-sereies. After working out mixes on the fantastic piece of eqipment the E-series is, I realized that the Ashly "helped" me in the pre-prod stage. Due to studio rent I had to prepeare my tracks properly. The CL52B were used on several tracks. I wonderd then if it was right to do this or not, I neded to to do diffrent settings thrughout the song (and that's timeconsuming you know). When I got to the studio, I compeared flat audio, flat audio thru the E-series compressor with my pre-prod done on the CL52B. No doubt I selected those tracks, mixed it down with the G-series compressor; happy.
