Hi,

my favourite "high end" stereo upgrade is the solid copper fuse replacement.

Not that well appreciated by the insurance community though.

Take care......

John

I tried the solid copper fuse replacement on my highly modded Argon/Neon EQ and, wow, what a big punchy mojo vintage boom it was. We even made it onto Japanese news.

You see me at 0:16 taking off in my rescue capsule. The EQ obviously works great but -- even with this setup -- music still sounds somewhat shitty to my ears. So back to the drawing board.

I guess holding my breath while listening to music is best.

Maybe this is the time for me to get some advice regarding future USB cable purchases? I was thinking of getting a Kimber, but after reading this review I'm a little concerned about the 'downbeat presentation' and 'flabby bass'. I mean, this is the word of the UK's largest hi-fi magazine. I'm concerned...

The funniest thing about this is, Ray Kimber uses Mogami 2534 to make all of his recordings!  He was a regular customer at the shop I used to work at.

Thanks for that. It's always good to see the results of independent testing :)

Bravo for the guy taking the time to put that together, but ........................
Has he listened to any of that out of the Earth's atmosphere ? that's a totally different space!

It must be small perceptions of possibility that add credibility to the idea things can be better,
whether it be personal  physical fatigue or dirty A.C. or unreliable aural memory & whatever
associations or external influence, but I'm sure many of us have experienced things sounding
different for some reason , still where there's money , someone wants it , free information, well
you still have to do it yourself
