Hi forum,

the above mentioned Behringer amp caught my eye.

This can't be a full-featured tube amp, right ?
They say it's an ULTRATUBE design, but i cannot get the clue.

Has somebody got an experience with the device ?
Sound ?
Worth the money ?
Some enlightening, please..

Thanks in advance for your answers !

Greetings,
Frank

Correct.

They say it's an ULTRATUBE design, but i cannot get the clue.

It is marketing rubbish. It may have one preamp tube used for distortion, but it is not a tube amp.

Buy a Marshall or something good instead.

", this new guitar combo features a hand-selected 12AX7 vacuum tube in its preamp stage and vintage design with UltraTube circuitry for classic tube sound through its powerful 20-Watt, specially tuned 8" custom speaker.

I love marketing nonsense

"hand selected" - that is true - it is picked by hand from the parts bin

The rest of it - sounds like your bog standard Marshall Valvestate type model well all errrr... do not quite like

On a budget, the best small valve amp I can think of is the Laney LC15.
