Bias votage is almost irrelevant. Wjat counts is anode current. For good noise performance, this type of circuit usualy idles at about 0.5mA.What is the bias voltage you have set for this circuit in volts? Is it -1.6V or higher

Is it true that the standby anode current is 0.5ma? Thank you very much for your helpBias votage is almost irrelevant. Wjat counts is anode current. For good noise performance, this type of circuit usualy idles at about 0.5mA.
It's typical of many tube mics, most Neumann's, Sony, Rode, all chinese stuff. A notable deviation is the Neumann U67, which runs at 0.9mA.Is it true that the standby anode current is 0.5ma? Thank you very much for your help
The result looks strange.Actually the result was the opposite with a knee at 2 kHz so it is lacking body. Must be a mismatch between tube, cap and transformer.
Yes the added remote is workingHi
Any luck with the "Remote Pattern"?
