Hey y'all! I'm pretty new to building kits (have done a few 500 series pres from Hairball and CAPI), and naturally have a dumb question to ask.
I'm building a pair of EQP5s from DIYRE and accidentally soldered a 100k resistor network backwards. It snapped when I was trying to take it out, so now I'm looking for a replacement.
The part in the kit was a Bourns 100k resistor network that read "8X-2-104LF".
My local electronics store carries a Xicon 8/4 "268-100k-RC". Will this part work as a suitable replacement or do I need to order the original part?
ALSO. I haven't seen much talk on here about the EQP5 yet. I'll report back once I have mine up and running - so far the build instructions are incredibly clear and everything is labeled really well. They look sexy - can't wait to put them through the paces!
