Ummm. Circuit shown is for +/-16VDC supply. Bipolar 18VDC is the abs.max. for the TL07x chips.
Depending on your PSUs real world output voltages (FI parts tolerances of 7818/7918 voltage regulators might give out up to +/-18.9VDC) you might be exceeding the abs.max. opamps supply rating and the opamp already might be damaged or give unpredictable results.
 
The PSU reads a lil less than 18V, about 17.8V (each rail)

Do you think this is still too much?

I'll buy a pair of trimpots and get it down to 16V just in case.

You can trim only the voltage going to the Tl072 if you want. Anyway you should supply to the TL072 15v to 16v max.

I would just run the whole thing at 16v as recommended.
