@abbey road (i have also attached a schem of my interpretation of what i think you are saying)

what you are saying is i should only use the:

input xlr, switches for 47v & 12v, 20db Pad, polarity switch, T1, "record board", T3, and the output XLR

and delete:

"Repro Board" and the "o/p attenuator"

and get a different PSU.

couple question as usual...

what xmfr's should i use for "T1" and "T3"?

what should i use for the PSU?

The o/p tranny goes to C4 all right, but should not be grounded at the same time.
You don't need the 12v supply for the phantom LED; you can run it directly from the switched phantom voltage, through a 10k res.
You'll want a SS rectifier (bridge or two diodes, depending on power tranny), you can run the heaters direct from 6.3V ac. You need to balance the 6.3Vac with two 100R resistors going to ground.
Production of 48V will be dependant on the power tranny too. One of the difficulties is sourcing a xfmr with the right voltages; the ideal would be 200Vac 100mA, 6.3 or 12.6 Vac 1A and 48Vac 100mA, but it doesn't exist as standard, so you'll probably have to use several separate xfmr's.
What package do you use for your schematics? If perchance you use Eagle , PM me the file.
