C23 in the G9

it states on the board 10u 63V.

I remember reading that for the 47u's it would be ok to use 50V ones for these.

Would the same apply for C23? Thanks.

Yeah I fully understand..

I swear I saw it said more than once though that in this case, 50V would be fine? :shock:

I think the fact that in the parts list those particular caps are stated to need to be 50V, that triggered it....

Damn, should have checked my board first. Big waste of $$ on some nice caps. Someone should change that parts list !!

Anyone here used 47u 50V electros for the G9 and got away with it? I imagine a few have seeing the parts lists has them at 50V ...

it'll probably work fine, but 63v is somewhat preferable if you haven't sourced 50v's already..

Yeah I have already sourced some Elna SILMIC 50V's for the 47uf caps. Ill go with a 63V for C23 though...

Then, I guess I will just hope it dosent blow up!
