Random question, but anyone have any idea where I could find these in bulk?  Home depot is killing me with $5 for 4 of them.  I'd like to get them in 100-500 at a time...

Fastenal or Grainger maybe.  Should be one of each in your town, Fastenal at least will order low quantities of items not in stock for pickup.

Seems another name is "joint connector nut." I got some 5/16 black recently @$.32 (but not brass):

You can pretty much guarantee that Home Depot's prices will be elevated on almost all hardware except for large quantities of deck or drywall screws.

Great find!  They also have the correct bolt length I need.
