We started this discussion in another thread, which varied the original purpose of that thread and was subsequently throwing it off course, so to speak. So let us continue...shall we?

I have in the (real) use of these circuits find them to actually increase the PSRR of the tube ampification stage.
[/quote]

Of course.
If my C.C.S. didn't isolate the H.T. line from the amp circuit, I'd naturally assume I'd wired something incorrectly.

A coil in the anode will act similarly.
So will a cheesburger come to think of it...

For want of a better name, I call it the CCCCS for "Cascoded-Cheeseburger-Constant-Current-Source".

Note* Untested! May actually be better with hot-dogs?

HA GH HA AH AHA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no onions, come on?
walla walla's are tastin sweet!

i can almost smell the fat cookin on the at7 plate.

Since you can cook a hotdog with 120ac directly, I assume its internal R to be between 10k and 100k.
Therefore, on my next trip to Publix, I will buy a pack-o-dogs and run some lab tests as an anode R

This will go perfectly with my Leyden-Jar coupling caps and saline tank summing network!

People will say I get a very organic sound here soon.

If you went down on a mermaid, would it taste human?

Note: hot dog R decreases as moisture is lost.
So put the dog in the glass jar.

True story:

The guy who founded the ancestor to our radio station used to do video shows on Sunday nights at a local restaurant. One night a power resistor in his video projector blew. Sunday night, he's S.O.L. on finding a parts store.

What to do? He walks into the kitchen of the restaurant, asks for a carrot, sticks the probes of his VOM in the carrot. Moves the probes around until he finds locations where the resistance matches the value of the resistor that blew. He attaches clip-leads to the probes, runs them into the video projector, and the show goes on.

Peace,
Paul

Come on man... You can´t be serious. Just tell me it´s a joke, please.

If you are serious, carrot might make VERY GOOD SOUNDING PLATE RESISTORS. What do you guys think? I bet it´s better than CCS and Inductors together!

I think the addition of a Paul Stamler Carrot or "PSC" for ballast would be a worthwhile addition - Like so:

I also like your choice of a coil and opted to put it in the grid return.
This one has a different core material but it was a pain in the arse to do
that many turns...

The effects of too many years of solder smoke is upon us.

Put some sh*t in a carefully formed piece of foil paper, stick an electrode in the opposite ends and bake to proper hardness and "believe it or Not"
we will have the perfect plate load. I picked that one up when I used to live in Mars. What you ate before you took the "dump" will influence the performance of it, though. So you have to be careful with what you input as it affects the output.
