We all love you and your designs here. It´s just that you get too serious about it. These people, like CJ, Winston and NYD are just somewhat very crazy fellows. You never know their next move. They just go down on you sometimes because you get too serious and upset with ********. Once you do not get upset anymore, it will naturally stop.

Come on, it´s all a big party. Party with us! Come on! We love you. You are family already. have some drinks and relax. everybody is a little tense today, you are no exception, so don´t worry. There´s **** going on in the brewery, but the sun will rise tomorrow just like it does everyday.

Seriously Fred, I ain't feelin it. This is the "Drawing Board" not the "Brewery" and yes I'm serious about what I'm trying to do. The mentality around here is one bull lead the way and the cows fall in line behind it.
I hear members argue about the deteriorating tone the forum is taking...and what do you think this is. This is ********, man. Yes I'm defensive about my designs like any guy who put his heart into what he's trying to accomplish would. When you spend your hard earned money on what you believe in...it's no longer a joke, is it. I'm not trying to be cool, cheap popularity does not interest me on here. You know how many times I ask myself why do I keep messing around here? I'll admit that I don't like the forum as much as I used to for (2) reasons. The first being resistance to different ideas (often met with dissing and ridicule, prime example) the second, I can't stand straight up cloning. Jesus, add a personal touch to it...make it yours.
I need a break from all this...throw your bacon, swine and all that you eat at the thread, the idea, the guy...at least the obeastity might subside a little as a result. I'm a vegan anyway, so I can't lick my lips at the burgers and the other abomination we commonly consume. Respect is a two edged sword, give it and you get it. Check my very first thread and see if I was the first to throw a blow, if you kick me I'm a kick back with everything I got. I love all of you though, you just piss me off more often than not.

Well, remeber who put the burgers on there in the first place, and also see that there is a full moon out, everybody around here is acting pretty strange, plus the sun is sinking into a different angle, which can be depressing.

Just pretend pages 1 and 2 do not exist, and carry on.
We are interested, but we like to keep ourselves from becoming too seroius about life, which makes the forum less dry and boring.

Some of these guys are just like old wild boars. You can´t be kiddy with them. I felt the bite also more than once. But really, this doesn´t means they are bad, oh, not at all. In fact these a a bunch of great foaks. Really nice people, you know.

We are all just people in here. This kind of things happens when dealing with people, specially over the internet. Leave the forum for a few days. Get your head refreshed and cleared from us. If you miss it and feel like getting back, we will always welcome you. I´m sure about it.

Ok Ok, now that we are past the 'Meat and Potatoes" part of the thread,we will be happy to talk-tech.

I should hope someone takes the time to make cartoons in one of my threads. It's not an affront on the designer or his concepts, its just when he said cheeseburger I went and looked for cheeseburgers on google and got called away, and when I got back, Winston had done exactly what I had intended to do. So then, I had to add to that because the joke had gained momentum. In essence, we were trying to outdo each other. You were just the schematic provider. We can use mine if you like.

And it was a funny-ass way to illustrate the anything that raises the AC impedance on one end is gonna reduce ac ripple. But I like a CCS, conceptually, never said I didn't. Dave won't build one cause its hybrid, but thats not the general consensus at all.

Hey you aren't the only one. this happens to me all the time. I'd like to say that I don't care but after you spend 1/2 hour typing information into a thread only to have someone overlook it and someone else to chime in

There is a thread a few days old about switching power supplies.. someone asked for info, I gave tons of info and especially one line that broke it down to the facts of finding a book about switching powersupplies is rare and almost never helpful. Datasheets and appnotes are where the info are.

Another person posted directly after me with almost the same info. They were thanked and I was not.

I'm right there with you Larrchild.

And I post this here just because I think that it somewhat applies to Analag too, his designs do get a lot of attention, it just happens to be negative, or his designs are overlooked completely because I think a lot of folks just don't understand his ideas. They are great ideas and while I'm not a tube guy deep down, I greatly appreciate his willingness to try the unknown hybrids that he designs. Many times I don't see folks thanking him for his contributions, but that is changing slowly as people see he is capable of pretty cool things, they are just outside the realm of the established norm and some can't fathom that.

On the other hand though, honestly the cheeseburger thing was pretty damn funny and I don't think anyone meant to ridicule Analag personally or ridicule his design at all.
