We had some bad experiences with that over at the old place.

But we've had a bit of forum software trouble.. Did you get any wierd error messages?

But might I suggest a calmer more humble tone. No one here owes anyone else anything but respect. Members here post in an attempt to receive help or be helpful. Personal insults don't belong here. While I haven't removed any post, I will be editing your words that were inappropriately insulting to other members.

i've read this person's posts/responses and they tend to be highly negative and egotistical...

I was actually appalled at his retort to Marik's response to his microphone questions.

I think editing out personal insults is not only justifiable but I find it preferable to leaving them in. Other forums (Klaus H. for example) ban people for acting inappropriately

I haven't found another forum except Klaus's where people exhibit so much comradery and genuine respect.

HG I was truly shocked by your reaction to Marik's comments. I believe you completely misunderstood him. This is an easy thing to do when reading a post. Our text doesn't convey inflection or tone of voice. Why I could have easily written Marik's reply myself after reading your initial post thinking that you didn't have a good enough understanding of the construction of a U47. I would have no way of knowing otherwise and I'd believe I was being helpful.

I'm all for more censorship but of the self imposed type.

I'd just like to end by thanking everyone on this forum for being so well mannered, kind , patient and friendly. I'll see if I can't do my bit.

Actually, the post removal was due to the update problem from a few days ago. It has nothing to do with Marik. The posts showed up the next day for some reason.

Obviously there are guys here who are true genius's and they can intimidate us noobs by there lack of candor.

But I apologise to Marik and others because I should have just realised there was no malice intended on his part and you guys are correct when you suggest I should know my place.
