Like 10.years ago someone asked me to recap a dual germanium Chandler preamp, which I thought lacked of a good sound...pretty lifeless in my opinion... nothing changed after I was done with the recap though.

Hey, I love the germanium sound ( and build my own fuzzs ), but it is always one of many sounds ( imo mostly to color around high-mids ), ideally I would like to build a similar gain / feedback circuit, same voltage pref. to use with the Chandler power supply?

Btw, just got a Chandler germanium pre, my 2nd ( had to sell 1st ), plan to mod.

Mostly use as D.I. With thick on.

The p.s. Supports two ( one day, maybe the tone ), but want to use it for my own Ge stuff also.
