Cinemag input trans. in Bellari RP 220?

I am attempting to upgrade my Bellari RP 220. I am attempting to install a Cinemag CMMI-8B3 input transformer. However, I am getting large amounts of noise (hum) after installation. Has anyone else tried this mod? I am open to suggestions as to where my problem lies.

most likely your hum is a ground problem. Assuming your cinemag trafo is in working order as I have run into problems with them before, make sure the can is shielding/grounding properly. Double check your wiring setup as well.
