hey
i have a whole lot of scratchy elmas in some of my modules. they are series 01 - the standard blue ones. too expensive to replace honestly.
im aware that i can use tuner600 or teslanol t6 and pretty much nothing else. but im wondering where to apply it. when i dissemble the switches from the frontplate i can spray into the stop pin opening.
but dissembling them all would be a major pain the ass. the switches also seem to have small opening on their back. are these for cleaning purposes? anyone know if i can simply spray in there?

cheers

the old men at work are used to drill a small hole to spray it

arghhh that sounds like even more work :)
do you know if spraying into the stop holes even reaches the switching mechanism?

so i called up elma today. for anyone interested - one should spray into the stop pins. no need to drill anything. the mechanics are open. bad news is that my switches are gone for good (the gold wore off - after 60 years of use) and i had to spent 300€ on replacement elmas..
the unit sounds so good its worth it though. plus distrelec offered them for half the price - im afraid i bought their entire stock :)
