This was really sad news. Dave was a good friend, I've known him forever. My Dad introduced me to him when Dave was his best student and thought we'd get along. I can't even remember how long ago, at least 45 years.
Such a gentle genius, always liked to share stuff about his new projects and listen to what I was doing too.
Dad died more than 20 years ago, so the trips to Superior have been fewer over the years, but we never stopped getting together for dinner, beers, and bs at the trade shows.
Truly a man the industry will miss.

Remember Dave at AES S.F. at Avid/Digi Booth very intelligent and humorious cat, and own some of his designs. life is just to short - cut short.
Still can't forget the loss of friend Bruno2000 and many more like Rupert Neve.
