Has anyone got one and cracked it open yet?  I suspect it's all SMT components, considering the size.  Still, at that price and judging by the reviews, it's a stellar deal on a good workhorse comp.

Other than more difficult to repair, not much else.  I would think sonically they're nearly identical.

That's what people are saying so far.  So they extended the sale.....I have enough 903's but I'm still curious.

Everyone says they sound identical to their rack versions.  I bought 2, if they're cool I'll get another pair!  Can't build at that price...

dbx is competing against themselves, a 900 rack with four 903's can be had under $400 pretty frequently, maybe even with a custom XLR panel added, and space for 4-5 more modules depending on the rack version.
