hey guys,
i have a pair of chicago 500:18k transformers here that id like to use for something... can i build a di box with it or is the ratio too low for such a purpose? cheers

ps: if not - any other suggestions? its one input and one output. both 500:18k. ther is also a "limiter transformer" (whatever that might be) with 10k:40k in the set....

ps2: and here might be the most stupid question ever - im not good with transformers.... could i simply connect them together and use for colouration (say 500:18k into 18k:500)?

Direct boxes in the Remote Truck come in 2 flavors.  60k:600/150 for non-amplified guitars/basses and 15k:600/150 for synths and guitars/basses that have preamps built in.  YMMV.
Best,

P.S.  The Jensen DI XF are really nice.  No affiliation, just the facts mam, just the facts.
