DIY 8 Slot Lunchbox with handles (and internal PSU)?

Is there any such kit available? There are commercial 8 slot api 500 lunchboxes but none come with a handle and XLR connectors. Just wondering if it's a physical limitation due to 8 slots maybe being too heavy for a single handle or sth.

I used to make them out of plywood & line the interior with foil to screen the box.  I found 2 bits of aluminium angle that would perfectly line up an 18way socket (because 15 way were not so easy to find at the time).  I would blank off 3 pins with a bit of veroboard.  The Psu would be in an aluminium dies cast box at one end.  The mounting rails for the modules were bits of square section aluminium rod that I would drill and tap.
