Hi guys, today we finished installing new CRM in DB studios!!!!
I came home some hours ago tired like sh*t, but HAPPY!!!!!!!!
New CRM has 5.1 surround, and some other fancy's. Westlake used for stereo and surround, Wilson, NS-10 and auratone for stereo.
Have a fun lookin' at the photos (sorry, Nokia N95's camera, but it is FRESH!!!!!) here:

First, have to say, ALL techs and engineers who worked in DB for years, said:
"It feels like we took off the blanket which covered loudspeakers before"!
Yes, SSL's CRM was very cool for 1979, But I cannot agree with this kinda audio in 2011.
BTW, we built La-Vi hi-end grade console in 2007, and used here first time passive, relay-based CRM section.
By some reasons, we still cannoit replace the deck in DB to La-Vi console, but can improve SSL deck as possible....
3 CRM kits were used for this build with some minor changes.
Now, we can work 5.1 and stereo, and, most important, PROPERLY LISTEN WHAT WE DOING!
