Hello All

Is someone here that has already built such a compressor?

I am asking cause i would like to add audio transformers on the output Carnhill VTB 2281.

The technician was in the meaning, i should mount the VTB on the 1646. So i am think, this should work? Any thoughts?



Not the best think i think right? I would lift the two pins of the 1646 and go straight into the VTB2281 and then back in the IC Socket.

I think so easy it's not right?

I've built one. Where are you going to fit the transformer since the PCB takes up most of the real estate inside. If you are going to use a transformer, you won't need C53/55. Also, you shouldn't need the THAT1614 either. You will have to find a transformer that will work with whatever op amp is upstream of that, which I think is the 2520.
