Don't know about textured. I haven't used it.
I'd try it out on some practice surfaces first to see.
I've used black wrinkle paint in a spray can a lot on studio equipment and car parts.
When you use wrinkle paint, the more coats you apply wet or the thicker the paint is,
the deeper the wrinkles will be when it dries. That's why it looks like a thin coat.
Make sure the part is clean, paint is at room temp.
I usually put the part in the oven at a low temp so it dries evenly.
It stinks up the house, turn on the fan and don't tell the wife.
