probably going to hell for this ........ but ....
heres the finished product
sorry , i just had to add the atoms ..... i love them
(using a stack of 40uf's , two of them can be 10uf's)
plus you can add a 5th ontop for 1st stage filtering if you like.
accidentally melted one my lundals trying to desolder it
from one pcb to the next pcb ,(damn once there in , there in !!)
gotta wait for the new one to arrive , hopfully tomarrow.
before i finalize and send off to be printed.
my sowters arrive in 2 weeks , so ill have the sowter version
out shortly there of.
you know there is enough room , right there in the drip logo area
to add one more transformer for hi-z .
sorry , ill stop , lol
[quote author="Engfelt2000"]Great project! I'm definately in for a couple!
I've also been planning to put a similar locut on my 312's. Could I use the same values as on this one?

the hi frequency response can be rolled off , with a seperate
attenuator pcb .
the original bass roll off on the 72 was achieved by a 1 uf cap between coils on the input xformer .
the lundahl version naturally has a small bass roll off , and a nice
gentle slope high roll off .
(pretty much identical to a v72 with the 1 uf cap un bridged)
the lundahls configuration doesnot allow the bridging
of coils in 1:20 mode ,
so some thing like a filter circuit would need to be added
for an aditional bass roll off .
but from what i understand , this can be easily done .
the sowters are very linear , but i find the lundahls frequency response
as is .... do represent several of the v72s that i scaned .
it was my goal to not have it sound too hi-fi.
i.e : linear from 20hz to 20khz.
a nice perk is also you get to use the same power transformer
that the la2a uses , no need for a custom job ..

ps , all outstanding t4s should be shipped on monday.
ahhhhhhh. ......thanks for your patience .
