 Only one I could find, but it's the most expensive pot I've ever seen! I guess keep looking.

This PEC pot is probably useless, they apparently took over making pots from Allen Bradley, but all the pots of theirs I have seen went prematurely noisy.

Actually, Allen Bradley sold out to Clarostat who sold out to Honeywell, the current owner of the potentiometer products.

PEC is a different company from Canada, which has been making work-alikes of the old A-B carbon pots.  I've used some PEC carbon pots (DigiKey stocks various models) with no apparent problems.

Here is a PEC dual 10K rev log stocked by DigiKey:

pec sealed pots are used in the current line of universal audio 1176 reissues. How a sealed pot gets scratchy who knows be we had to replace pots on the ones at work. I successfully drilled holes in a few to get deox in there and that worked well. got the scratch out except the one pot I drilled just a little to far into, that got replaced.

Interesting, re the PEC pots.  I finished up some DRIP kit builds for a friend/client which used the PEC carbons, but didn't have any probs.

Sure there's no dust from outside the system. But there's still physical wear, entropy. Metal wiper chipping carbon off the surface. You don't see them quote any physical wear related life time numbers on the datasheets. pucho812, just how badly were those pots abused?
