Thanks to much help from this forum, I am now the proud owner
of two working 1176's. Both Jakob's boards The dual 1176, built
from mnats boards, is still in fault checking limbo. It passes signal,
but not until the in and out pots are past 12 0' clock. The signal is
also distorted. This is the same for both boards.
Here you can see the inside of the dual.
Be careful to measure the ratio and meter pcb's correctly. I didn't and
had to order a new frontpanel.
Here is the inside of my G9 awaiting me to figure out how to put the
power trannies in. They are avel lindberg model # Y236103.
If anyone has used those trannies and could help with install I would
greatly appreciate it.
Here is my Mic in progress. Got a Peluso cap, lundahl transformer and Neumann tube waiting for a home.
Thanks again to each and every member of this forum for creating a community that allows people like me with little electronics experience to build equipment I do not see myself being able to afford at its street price anytime soon.
If anyone has had similar problems with their MNATS 1176 boards let
me know.
If anyone could tell me what to do with the two "extra" primaries on the
power trannies that would also be very helpful.
Thanks Again,
Cletus
