Hi
Let me explain. I switched my LA2A on few weeks ago and noticed a really weird hum when on compression, switching to limiting and there was no hum. I found it weird, and first suspected the T4B so I shut down the unit and switched on and then, the vu meter leds began to flash, buzz and the hum was worse and even followed the beat of the led haha. Anyway, I shut down the la2a again and turn on, to kill the led definitely and the hum dissapeared. They were strapped to the heaters circuit and I hadn't put a serie drop resistor, so probably I had a peak and it basically killed the led.
Few days ago, I turned on the la2a and noticed I had a hum which was increasing when turning gain CW. I tapped with my finger on the vu meter and the hum finally dissapeared. So I Wonder, is a led that lid no more can still cause some hum and weirdos things? Or maybe it's my neon bulb to cause that. Anyway, just curious if it could be the LED lol
