Whilst dismantling a well known and well respected dynamic microphone, I came across something I had never seen before.

It seems to be a series LRC filter wired in parallel with the capsule.

I´ve got another well known and well respected dynamic microphone named M201 n(c).2. I presume it is the same thing as the normal M201 with a condensor added as a HP-filter (~200Hz). I want to short circuit the HP-filter condensor in order to get a "normal" m201. But I don´t understand how to dismantle the thing! How on earth did you open the microphone? I have tried to unscrew the connector but it doesn´t move. I have also tried to unscrew the top of the microphone but I´m not sure if that is possible.
