Hello people..
Few days ago i finally had the needed time to clean and assemble back my EIII.
I remember that it was working 100% .. not now :(
Beside that i hear some high pitched noise from the stereo output (not yet checked the individual outs) and that when i try to sample, i see the VU always at full scale, i have troubles with most of the controls.. the keyboard is not sending any midi data out (probably is not sending any data internally, haven't yet had the luck to hear a sample), the sliders and the wheels seems to not work either.. i've done the recalibrate procedure but when i do that, i can't see any value changes when i move the controls.. the LCD, the ledss and the buttons on the control board are all working.
I'm sure that all the internal cables are at their own places correctly.. i
really can't think of anything easy to repair.
When i cleaned all the boards, i've handled them with extreme cure and also pushed all the chips in their sockets.
Any idea?
Thank you all..

Maybe you killed the sensitive chips with static discharge :?:

Disasamble it again and check everything.

sorry to hear this :-(

can you enter diagnostics mode?

1. Activate the Master module.
2. Select Submodule 8 (Special).
3. Move the data slider up to show the last choice.
4. Use the keypad and type in one number past the last choice. For example: if the last
numbered choice was 7, you would type in8.
5. The display will say: DIAGNOSTICS, Enter Magic Code.
6. The magic code for EIII diagnostics is 1-3-5-8. A good way to remember this number
is to recall that 1-3-5-8 = Major chord.

(copied and pasted it from the RAM module install pdf)
