Elam 250

I have one question about original schematics of Elam250!!!

It is about 8M capsule resistor in parralel with 500K resistor to GND!!!

Is this 8M is too much low, can be increased!?


I looked to Akg c12 and this resistor is 250M with 500K in parralel to GND!!!

On what this 8M resistor can may affect!? High freq, low freq or something else?

Low frequency cut.
If you would use teflon CK12, especially 2009 model then 8M is really ok for it.
For other capsules, you can use 30M, as in many ELA M250/251. Look for other schematics, there were at least 3 little bit different.

100pF from plate to ground is smothing HF.
