I will assume it's all LRC circuits and that there is a makeup stage afterwards. But what gets me is the bandwidth part. secondly  is their a limit on the number of bands one could do in such a configuration?

usually bandwidth is a variable resistor in series. The more DCR the lower the quality factor (Q) and the wider the bell.
